The Memorial House is across the street from the new chapel. The bright “Open” sign is a clear clue to students when the house is available Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Sunday School- 10:00am
There are many classes offered for adults on Sunday morning! We have different kinds of people learning about the Bible in different kinds of ways. If you head to the Visitor’s Center/Coffee Lounge, someone will help you find a class. Feel free to visit around until you find a group that feels like a good fit!

Coffee Lounge-9:45am-10:15am
Whether you are arriving at church for 10am Sunday School or getting out of early worship, all adults are invited to grab a cup of coffee, a home-made treat, and mingle in this room set aside just for you! This is a time to touch base with adults in different Sunday School classes and to help new guests find a Bible study community!

Wednesday Nights

Nourishment and Nurture- 6:30pm-7:30pm
There is a new offering and a new learning opportunity for adults ever few months during N&N. This is a time to attend classes from guest teachers, to participate in planning worship, or to join a special activity, such as prayer walking. All adults begin with a time of prayer in the fellowship hall and then break out into their groups. Check our website to find out what is offered this week!

Chancel Choir- 7:30-8:45pm in the sanctuary

Memorial House- Tuesdays, Thursdays 7:00pm-11:00pm.   Across the street from the new chapel, there is a house with orange chairs on the porch–The Memorial House.  The house is open for all Campbell students to use for meetings, studying, or simply to hang out!  The week of finals, we are open 24 hours a day for students to study.   If the “Open” sign is on, come on in!

Event Hosting: Memorial Baptist believes that Campbell students can know the love of Christ simply be receiving hospitality and generosity from our church family. With a building on the edge of campus, our church is hard to miss! Many Bible Study groups, counseling programs, student meetings, and service clubs use our church on a weekly basis.

Sunday School- in Family Life Center

Our Sunday School Classes: Middle School Class- 7-8th grades, High School Class-9-12th grades

Youth Sunday School is a wonderful time of food, fellowship, and Bible study! All youth begin class together to eat breakfast, hear announcements, and pray. They then break out into middle and high school classes to begin their Bible study lessons.

Sunday Night- Owner’s Manual Faith Class- in Family Life Center

Sunday nights, the youth learn and talk about their faith. Why do you believe what you believe? What do you believe? What do you doubt? This class covers everything from how to be a Christian at School to learning about your Spiritual Gifts. Open and honest conversations are a must as we learn from each other!

Wednesday Night- Youth Games – in Family Life Center

6:30-7:30pm Wednesday night is a time for fellowship and fun as our youth meet to let go of the stress of their day and build community as a Body of Christ. We will play anything from Ultimate Frisbee to Pictionary. Come and grab a snack, vote for your favorite game, and then join in the fun!

Special Events for Youth- Check out our youth calendar for this month’s fun plans! Every year, the youth go on a Fall Retreat, a Ski Retreat, camp, and a mission trip. We also have parties, special speakers, and endless summer outings. Lock-ins are one of the most popular events for youth- we have them both in the fall and spring!

Our Sunday School Classes: Nursery & infant, 2-3’s class, 4-5’s class, 1-4th grade class, 5-6th grade class

First-Fourth grades meet in the Fellowship Hall for a creative large group learning experience! They will learn from the Bible, sing songs, play games, have a snack, and hang out with some of their favorite Bible-teaching characters! This thematic teaching team provides the 1-4th graders with dynamic and exciting ways to grow in their faith.

Wednesday Nights:

Wednesday nights are a time for our children to learn how to praise God with their voices and serve God through missions. Children’s choirs teach the children about music and prepare them to sing in worship and in special programs. Mission Friends, GA’s, and RA’s are classes that focus on serving other people and sharing the Good News of Christ. Our kids learn about missionaries and participate in mission projects.

Special Events for Children and Families: There are too many special events for kids for us to list! Each year, we have a Fall Festival, Family Fun Night, Children’s Christmas musical, Easter Egg hunt, camps, local missions, Vacation Bible School, and other special offerings for kids. Check our calendar to find out what we have this month for you and your family!

Whether you join us for our 9:00am contemporary service or the 11:00am traditional service, you can expect to find a warm and welcoming worship environment at Memorial. When you arrive to worship, someone will greet you at the door to the sanctuary and hand you your worship bulletin. As you find a seat, you will discover a diverse family of believers who look forward to meeting you! Both services are thoughtfully planned around scripture for the day, which you can find on our website before arrive.

Early Worship Service: 9:00am

Style: This contemporary worship is led by our revolving worship bands. You can expect any musical worship from hymns to U2! Most people sit on the right side of the sanctuary.

Traditional Worship Service: 11:00am

Style: This traditional worship is led by our chancel choir and music ministers, the Morrows. You can expect to use hymnals for most songs, but the styles can be anything from international songs to the old Baptist favorites! Hold onto your bulletin for prayers and liturgies during the service.
